PROCEDURE
The Treaty establishing
the European Economic Community and its Annexes and the Treaty establishing
the European Atomic Energy Community were ratified by the German
Parliament on 27.07.1957. The Bundestag ratified them overwhelmingly
on 5 July 1957, thanks to the support of the Christian Democrats,
the Social Democrats and some Liberals. The Bundesrat did the same
on 19 July.
