> The Ratification Stage
Once negotiations conclude, each Member State ratifies the modifications
according to its own national constitutional requirements. In almost all
cases, parliamentary ratification is required. In some cases, referendums
are required and, in certain occasions, ratification requires also a constitutional
modification. If you would like information regarding the Ratification
Stage of a particular treaty click on the green quill ()
of one of the treaties on the side menu.
