CSIC HIGH SPECIALIZATION COURSE 
Cultural heritage intervention models: research, protection, conservation and valorization

2nd Edition

This Research Program on Technologies for Conservation and Revaluation of Cultural Heritage TCP (CONSOLIDER-Ingenio 2010, CSD 2007-0058) presents a new edition of the succesful High Specialization Course "Cultural Heritage intervention models: research, protection, conservation and valorization".

The multidisciplinary approach and the applicability in open cases are the hallmarks of the course, meanwhile a great opportunity to perform a high quality scientific transfer.

The objectives are to provide students with the knowledge and specific tools to enable them, based on their academic backgrounds, to understand the scientific and technological bases for the comprehensive study of Cultural Heritage and create innovative tools to meet the new requirements of research, protection and conservation of CH and its disclosure and valorisation as a durable resource.

This course is interdiscipliary and practical, focusing on:

• The framework of the current European trends, commited to the integrity of the cultural goods.
• The training of professionals from different fields in a global view of Heritage that could possibilite future coherent interventions.
• The inter- and trans- disciplinarity, based on the expertise and infrastructure of the teams who participate in the TCP programme.

Price
1200€. 20 CSD-TCP scholarships will be given. Beneficiaries will enjoy a reduced inscription fee of 500 €.

Duration
5 months (8 weeks of coursework imparted on alternate weeks).

Hours
120 to 160 according to the specific modules (60% theoretical, 40% practical).

Student profile type
Professionals and graduate students with middle-level degree or higher.

1200€. Se concederán 20 becas CSD-TCP. 
Los alumnos becados tendrán una matrícula básica reducida de 500€.
