Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDIs) are the most advanced form of presenting on-line geo-referenced thematic information, destined for scientific, administrative or social uses. Within the CSD-TCP team a nucleus of groups has become engaged in developing general protocols for creating historical and cultural heritage SDIs, with the collaboration of the technical team of the GIS Unit of the CCHS-CSIC (USIG).
